Akrotiri Venue Kalamata Wedding | Spiros & Niki

Spiros and Niki’s wedding at Akrotiri Venue in Kalamata was a celebration filled with energy, emotion and the relaxed atmosphere of a summer evening by the sea.

Their story is closely connected to Kalamata. Niki originally came from Patras to study in the city, where she met Spiros and eventually made Kalamata her home. Years later, it became the place where they chose to celebrate their wedding surrounded by family and friends.

The day began with Niki getting ready at Potis Suites, together with her family and closest friends. Her sister did her makeup, adding an especially personal touch to the morning. Meanwhile, Spiros prepared at his family home, surrounded by the people closest to him.

Later, everyone gathered at Akrotiri Venue for the ceremony at the small seaside chapel. Olive trees, views across the water and the surrounding Messinian landscape created a beautiful natural setting for the celebration.

After the ceremony, we stepped away for a little while to make the most of the warm evening light. We photographed Spiros and Niki along the coastline as the sun was setting, keeping things relaxed and allowing them to enjoy a few quiet moments together before returning to their guests.

As daylight faded, Akrotiri took on a completely different atmosphere. Elegant floral arrangements, chandeliers and the deep blue of the sea created a refined setting for the reception. Once the party began, Niki’s incredible energy quickly spread across the dance floor, bringing the day to a joyful and very personal close.
