Giannis and Kleoniki’s wedding in Kalamata had all the little traditions that make a military wedding so distinctive.
The morning began in two very different ways. Kleoniki was getting ready with her family , while Giannis was surrounded by his fellow officers, who had prepared a few good-natured pranks and plenty of laughter before he put on his white dress uniform.
At the church, his friends in their formal military uniforms formed the traditional sword arch, creating one of the most memorable moments of the day. The celebration continued into the evening, with dancing and fireworks beside the pool.
The following day, we met again for a more relaxed portrait session at Methoni Castle. With its old stone walls, warm afternoon light and views of the sea, it was a beautiful setting for a quieter final chapter to their wedding story.
