Peter & Liz — A Seaside Wedding at Akrotiri Venue, Kalamata
Peter and Liz travelled from the United States to celebrate their wedding in Kalamata, bringing family and friends together for a summer celebration overlooking the Messinian Gulf.
Their ceremony took place at Akrotiri Venue, in a seaside setting surrounded by the Mediterranean landscape. With the sea stretching behind them and the warm afternoon light falling across the venue, the ceremony felt relaxed, intimate and completely connected to the place.
After the ceremony, we stepped away for a short portrait session around Akrotiri and along the nearby coastline. As the sun began to set over the Messinian Gulf, the soft evening light created some of my favourite photographs from the day.
The celebration continued with an open-air reception by the sea, fhttps://antonispanitsas.gr/en/ollowed by dinner, dancing and fireworks as night fell over Kalamata.
A beautiful summer wedding shaped by the landscape, the people who travelled to be there, and the unmistakable light of Messinia.
